Affordable health care is an ongoing challenge for citizens of Massachusetts. The legislation passed last year to help alleviate the health care crisis is only a small step toward resolving the issue. We need a vocal advocate in the statehouse to move forward. Electing Jeff Thielman to the State House will provide that voice.

As a physician practicing in the Commonwealth, I am keenly aware of the challenges my patients have when trying to keep up with co-pays, deductibles and rising premiums. Also, as a physician who owns a private practice, I deeply appreciate the struggle small business owners have to provide health care coverage to their employees. It’s not easy. More work needs to be done to insure that every child, woman and man has access to affordable, quality health care.

In order to accomplish this we need strong leadership in the state legislature. That is why I am supporting Jeff Thielman’s candidacy for state representative of the 23^rd Middlesex District. Jeff has the wisdom, leadership skills and tenacity to wrestle with this complex problem.

I hope everyone joins me in supporting Jeff Thielman. He can help us achieve a healthier health care system for all of us in Arlington, West Medford and throughout Massachusetts.
