Letters to the Editor
January 3rd
Nora Mann - Jeff Thielman is a leader
Jim Marzilli was recently elected to the state senate. I'm thrilled that he is our senator. I’m also thrilled that there is a terrific candidate running to replace Jim in the state house: Jeff Thielman.
Jeff has been on the school committee for the past five years, he led the effort to improve Spy Pond Park and he's been a leader in creating schools for low-income youth around the country. He's a wonderful listener, a gifted leader and a coalition builder. I'm confident Jeff will be a great success in the house and an effective advocate for Arlington and West Medford.
The primary election is Tuesday, February 5, the same day as the presidential election.
To learn more about Jeff's campaign, please visit www.jeffthielman.com. The Web site has information about getting involved in the campaign. The list of supporters and active volunteers is growing every day, and we would love to have your help!
Jeff will be holding his campaign kickoff on Sunday, January 6at noon at the home of Alison and Steve Peterson, 29 Pleasantview Road.
There are many fine candidates who have indicated an interest in this seat, and I am grateful for their commitment to our community. I believe that Jeff Thielman will most ably represent the residents of Arlington and West Medford, taking over from Marzilli and moving to the next level on behalf of the residents of these two great communities.
