I write in support of Jeff Thielman’s re-election to the School Committee. Jeff is 100% committed to improving our schools. We need his knowledge and experience to help guide our School Committee and our entire community through the challenging times ahead of us. Jeff is a good listener who is willing to hear all sides of an issue and makes hard decisions for our kids’ benefit. He is a true leader, an advocate, and always is willing to go the extra mile to get things done.

The Brackett parent community is currently working on a project to improve the school grounds. For the last two years, Jeff has supported our project and helped us brainstorm solutions without tapping into Town funding. Jeff provided the guidance we needed while keeping the interests of the Town and Arlington’s kids paramount. He is a proven, experienced leader, and exactly the kind of member we need on our School Committee right now. There are going to be many tough decisions that need to be made and I trust Jeff to be the thoughtful, caring, person he has shown us to be.
