Steve and Gerry Ricci - Thielman has Expertise and Experience

Arlington has been our home for many years, we raised our daughter here and she attended the Arlington Public Schools. Even though we no longer have a child in the Arlington Public School it is important to us that our public schools remain strong and serve the current children as well as they served our daughter.

We are voting to re-elect Jeff Thielman to the Arlington School Committee because Arlington needs his expertise, experience and desire for high academic standards to make decisions that benefit Arlington’s children.

Jeff’s commitment to children is not something new, soon after he graduated from Boston College in 1985, he worked as a Jesuit International Volunteer in Tacna, Peru. There he taught high school and founded the Center for the Working Child an organization that helps street children and their families. His service to children continued as he served as Executive Director of Cassin Education Foundation, which helps establish schools in low-income, urban communities. He is currently vice president of the Cristo Rey Network, overseeing the start-up of these highly regarded schools for at-risk youth.

Arlington is very lucky to have someone of his caliber willing to serve our children and this community. Please vote for Jeff Thielman on Saturday, April 4. Thank you.
