I am writing to support the reelection of Jeff Thielman for School Committee. He has been responsive to stakeholders about identifying issues, participating in constructive dialogues, and formulating common sense solutions for all the children in Arlington Public Schools.

Jeff has demonstrated that he is skilled at working with diverse constituents and viewpoints, working constructively to address and recognize positions, and work for reasonable solutions and plans.

Our School Committee should focus on student needs and performance, district accountability, and supporting plans and budgets that support both of these needs. Jeff has performed well in this capacity and demonstrated he is a responsible, intelligent, articulate, and responsive public servant and will continue to put children’s needs first.

This approach has served the needs of students across a continuum of learning needs within the district. I wholeheartedly support his reelection to the School Committee.
