I am voting to re-elect Jeff Thielman to the Arlington School Committee on April 4 because he brings experience and intelligence to his role as a School Committee member. Jeff has participated in several rounds of union and budget negotiations as a School Committee member. He is unafraid to make tough decisions. Jeff is willing to listen to all sides on contentious issues and engage in respectful dialogue on the School Committee.

I have known Jeff for several years. As a parent of two elementary school-aged children, I am impressed by his dedication to all students in our community, and his strong commitment to put the needs of our children first. As a School Committee member, Jeff has been receptive and responsive to the community. Jeff consistently exhibits strong leadership and an ability to make difficult decisions.
