Michael Beck - Thielman Good for Community
I write to ask you to re-elect Jeff Thielman to the Arlington School Committee.
Raised in Arlington, I benefited from Arlington’s schools, teachers, administrators, parents and dedicated School Committees.
Arlington is a terrific town, and experienced leaders, like Jeff Thielman, are good for our community.
I met Jeff during Town Meeting. Since our kids are the same age, I’d speak to Jeff at the Robbins Library, Boys and Girls Club, Spy Pond Park, Town Day, neighborhood events, and at the schools. Over the past six years, every time I saw him, Jeff always shared: something new about the schools, new initiatives, updates, answers to questions, difficult decisions, excitement about teachers, and another student’s success. Jeff is a passionate champion for Arlington’s children.
On the School Committee, Jeff impresses me with his organizational abilities, his capacity to absorb disparate views, his calm delivery during intense debates, his managerial skills, and his proven dedication to kids of all backgrounds.
Working in the technology field, I appreciate Jeff’s support of the "Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics" initiative at Arlington High School.
Jeff has devoted his life and career to creating opportunities for all students. We benefit from his experience and dedication.
Please join me in voting on April 4 for my friend Jeff Thielman.
